explorer.exe - Application Error - when printing

When sending a "Print Test Page" from the Properties box
of any printer that is on our network, I get the following
message - Explorer.exe - Application Error: The
instruction at "0x77fccdee" referenced memory at
0xffffff8". The memory could not be "read". Click OK to
terminate the program. Click on CANCEL to debug the
program.

Any solutions? We also are having a problem printing out
of Acrobat.

The printing is fine out of the other Office programs,
Word, Excel, Powerpoint.

this is usually caused when the driver which is loaded in the explorer.exe
process uses memory which it has not initialized properly or frees memory
that it has already released. I have also seen a similar issue when shell
extension were added to printer properties by some network client software.

What printer drivers are you using? Are these inbox drivers or ones from
the vendor? Do you have any network client software installed for networks
other than Microsoft? What OS is the print server running, What OS are the
clients?

thanks
