explorer.EXE 0x00255516 memory can't be read error

purerockfury

help me please i can't do anything. all it does is keep popping up when i
cancel or ok it. i know it's probably a virus since that's all the virus
protection people do is make new viruses for us to buy more of their
products. even with all the protection i have and run, and all the
precautions i take i still get them.

i can not run any other programs either. windows won't let me. not even my
virus scan.

so please help me thanks.
 
Well maybe you actually have memory problems.With pc unplugged,move
the memory ram to other slots or trade places,see what happens after.And/or
tap F8 key on pc start-up,select safe mode,enter xp as administrator,R.click
my computer,properties,advanced,performance,virtual memory,change button,
set C: to "let system manage" click set 2X,close out,restart pc.

What happen if you logged into safe mode and Restore your system to a
working date?
Go through these Cleaning steps:
1... First, try to clean up your caches, Internet files and delete cookies
by doing this:
Click Start >> Control Panel >> Double click Network and Internet
Connections >> Double click Internet Options.
On the IE properties windows you will see these Tabs:
General | Security | Privacy | Content | Connections | Programs |
Advanced
Under General Tab clear your History, Internet Files and Cookies.
Then click on Advanced tab and scroll down to under the Browsing Option:
[&] Browsing
[ ] Enable Third-Party browser extensions (Req Rest) uncheck this box.
Then click on Programs Tab and click Manage Add-Ons and Disable all non
Verified Add-Ons (You should Renable them later one-by-one and see the
culprit and update it or remove it.

Scan for malware from here:
SuperAntispyware - Free

Download, install and run a full scan with Malwarebytes

Download Avast Cleaner (offline scanner) from here:

Run disk clean up on your Drive.

Comodo BOClean : Anti-Malware Version 4.27

If the above didn't help then You may have a bad RAM try to test your RAM by
running Memory test by
downloading this tool and unzip it and make a floppy or CD/DVD and run it on
Reboot.

You may need to reposition/reset the RAM sticks in their slots.
Have a look in the Event Viewer for error messages(X) that can shed some
light and post it back in your next post by performing the following and also
the System File Checker (SFC) sfc /scannow:
Open a Notepad, customize or minimize to the taskbar as you will need it
later for this step to copy the error message on it.
Open a run command and type in:
eventvwr.msc click [OK] you will get the Event viewer control Panel.
click on each of these:
Application
System
Security
Look in the right Pane/window for error message with red (X) or Yellow
exclamation mark /!\ , double click each one to get more info about the
causer.
On the Event error properties message you will see:
Up Arrow
Down arrow
Two pages
Click on the two pages to copy the error message then bring up the Notepad
you opened earlier and right click on the first line and select Paste from
the list, this will paste the error message on a Notepad.
Please don't duplicate the error message one of each kind will be sufficient.

unfortunately nothing seems to work on my computer. i start up get the error
message up and the only thing i can do is delete files from my computer. i
tried to go into safe mode and i get the same message. no programs will run
and when i cleck on taskmanager a black box with taskmanager.exe on the
window bar pops up and disappears.

do i need to give you all more info or am i screwed?
