EXPLORER DOESNT WORK ON MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS

I use my account the most - but our alternative account
(which also has administrative priveleges) simply does
not let exploer work.

When I double click on the icon, I get no response. No
errors or anything, but exploere refuses to launch (in
any fashion, by looking thru the tree structure or
via "all programs".

Can someone help me understand why IE 6.0 on Windows XP
service pack 2 does not work on my second user
account??????
