Explorer disconnects

When this happens shell out to DOS and see if you still
have an IP address.

ipconfig /all

through a cable modem. Everything runs fine when in a
acouple of minutes i lose connection to de Server. the
only way i can fix the problem is if i turn off the
computer and wait a few minutes, then turn on again.
Outlook is also affected.
 
i still have an ip address after it happens.

I think these problem started after i ran an update from the microsoft webpage
