Explorer Crashes

Ok, basically, when i click on either a movie file or an
audio file it causes a preview on the left pane of
explorer, now its started to cause my explorer to crash
does anyone know of how to get rid of this feature???

Set your audio filetypes to open with WMP and not Explorer then... right click these audio files one by one and choose "open with" - scroll to/find Media Player, ensure the tick "always use this program" is activated... Windoze will remember to carry out the same opening procedure every time in the future...
