What is the command line switch to have explorer open at
the root of c: drive?

I got this trick from someone on one of the newsgroups. I think it was purplehaz.
Put a shortcut to Windows Explorer to open to C: on the Desktop.Try this:
Right click the desktop/New/Shortcut/Browse/expand My Computer/click the C
drive/OK/Next/Finish.
Right click the new icon/Properties/Shortcut tab/Change Icon button/pick
icon/OK/Apply/OK.
