Eplorer 6.0, XP SP1 new windows allways open minimized how to change

Try the following and see if it helps:

Close all browser windows but one. Pass the cursor over the right side of
the screen until you get a two ended arrow <---> (Do not use Maximize), then
hold the left mouse button down and drag the edge of the screen to the right
as far as you want it. Then do the same on all the other sides until it
fills the screen. Close the window and close IE. Reopen IE and the window
should open maximized.

No it does not work to streach and restart. Anyway, now I know at there is
nothing wrong with my Epl. at least. Thanks :)
