Explore with full name

Hi
When I open "Explore" on my new Vista system I would like to see the full
file name with extensions. Is this possible? I thought the "Full Name"
option would do it, but not.....

I think... open a window and click on organise, choose "folder and search
options", click view tab and remove the tick from "hide extensions for known
file types"
