Sounds like a security problem or a hoax to me. You
either need to get a firewall going or if you have let
people get on your computer then they might have
installed a prank. You can turn the windows firewall in
xp by doing the following: start, control panel, network
conections (double click), right click on your conection
to the internet (if you are using a dial up it will be a
modem, if you are using a connection thats always on it
will be your networking (ethernet) card), go to
properties, advanced, then turn on internet connection
firewall. If you have a connection that is always on you
might think about getting a router with a firewall built
in, espically if you have more than one computer (that
way you can connect them all).
