Exploding boulder

I need the animate (I guess) a rock/boulder falling from the top of my
document and exploding/breaking up when it hits the ground. Any idea ...

Which version of PowerPoint do you use? Should be possible in PPT 2002/03,
extremely difficult in 97/2000.

We had the question about a "fireworks" animation some weeks ago and several
nice solutions. Conduct a Google Groups search for this. If you change the
direction of the animations ("down" instead of "up"), this should work.
