Hi

I am looking for information on how to explain to a client the workings of
Terminal Server & Client Connections (Remote Desktop)

I would like to explain what actual recived & transmitted using TCP/IP,
example of number of bits etc.

Can anybody help?

Thanks
Barry

Hi Patrick

Thanks for the info.

I could not find information regarding the amount of bandwidth used, is that
information available?

Regards
Barry

At a minimum 24Kbps per session, plus printing & file transfer bandwidth.
I'd budget for at least 56Kbps per session, the more the better. The higher
the screen resolution and more graphical in nature the programs, the more
bandwidth will be required.

I run 25 concurrent sessions over a 5-6Mb wireless bridge.

Patrick

Thanks again for your help.
