Arthur explained :
What do I do when it expires???

Hi

From Mr Dodson MSFT, and this IS a shame for MS........... ;(

"We have not announced timing of RTW, and we are still planning a beta
2. And
while I am here dispelling rumors, we are also aware of the July 31
timebomb
and are working on an update to extend that date."

Over and out !

Maybe he is lurking and see this............

So watch out for new versions within this newsgroups or MSAS homepage.

I am lurking... what is the question?

Timetable for MSAS !

To much rumours and users with questions.
And for sure these users must be worried when MSAS
tells them that MSAS expires within 55 days.
Please contact MS for an updated version.

This is indeed a shame for MS and against all proud Windows users.

So start your MS Project and let us know !

IMHO

I would say that the expiration issue will be resolved fairly soon as we
will push forward the timebomb. We are in the final test pass on the next
release and as soon as we have finished the testing, it will be broadly
announced. The next version should put a dent in reducing the following
major issues:

1) July 31 Timebomb
2) LSP breaking.
3) Flying toasts when start bar is docked on the side.

I am real excited that these items will be fixed soon so we can focus on
finalizing beta 2.

Excellent news--I think you've got those in roughly the order of importance,
but #3 is near and dear to the hearts of the largest number of people, I
suspect!

I've got a short question concerning your is this information
available to worldwide public or just for private MS newsgroups (ie. can it
be reprinted in other places) ?

This is not a private newsgroup in the sense you seem to be referring.
This newsgroup is open to anyone who wants it.

Thanks Jean-Marc, thanks Jupiter!

I know that this newsgroup does not go under NDA, but I just want to ask
Steve Dodson if I can quote his words not only on this (MS owned)
newsgroup, but also "spread the word" ;-) amongst other MSAS users, for
example on the Forum I'm member of :-)

I have been using MS Beta1 for a few months successfully
but recently it is unable to remove a browser highjack
file that appears to be deep-rooted. Any suggestions out
there?
