Find the short and long date formats and reset to the topmost setting.

Whle in this general area:

Users in locales where the default clock is a 24 hour format will find that
they cannot set scheduled scan times in the afternoon.

This can be worked around by selecting a time format which uses 12 hour
format rather than 24 hour.

This is on the Time tab, and a working format is:

h:mm:ss tt

A non-working format is:

any of the choices with a CAPITAL H at the beginning.

MSAS Beta 1 now expires on Dec 31. Is that the answer or
are you talking about a format problem?

Hi Jamie

I have done it in this way with no problem.

- Download version 1.614

- Uninstall MSAS.

- Delete all folders, Program files/Microsoft Antispyware

- Clean registry, I recommend CCleaner, www.ccleaner.com
"Issues" cleans registry, you can also clean out all temporarlily junk
with this handy tool.

- Install version 1.614

I'm curious about whether gcUnCompress.dll goes away in the uinstall?

Sounds like it must, but I haven't had a chance to check.

What is the best approach: What is the best approach to install the 614
version ?
Uninstall 1.0.509 first or install over it ?
Time is running out - 509 expires end of July, but I can see from the many
posts here there are many problems when and if updating to 614.
