Expiration on old flagged messages

Does anyone know if there is a limit on how old a message,
that has been flagged for follow-up, will still bring up a
reminder window?

I have a user that marks emails with a flag and sets the
reminder and she likes how it pops up everyday to let her
know it's there, but she noticed that after some period of
time that they just drop off the reminder list and don't
pop-up any longer.

She can sort by flagged messages but she really prefers
the pop-up feature.

I told her to use Tasks, but they may have the same issues
with older tasks.

Any help much appreciated,
Thanks - Rick

I don't think there's any limit, as long as the message is still in the Inbox and the user hasn't dismissed the reminder. The latter is usually the case, I think, when the reminder stops working -- it's all to easy to inadvertently click Dismiss.
