my question on a forum was:

"how do i set the windows bootup logo in the same resolution that my desktop
have (1600x1200)?"

got this reply:

"i believe its the way windows loads up, normally i think to avoid problems
etc the os loads and other basic software then when windows is active the
proper drivers are loaded instead of generic, there is a way to get your
proper device drivers to load first (increasing boot up resolution to what
you have as your desktop resolution) of all then load the OS"

now how would i make this work ?

Do you like maybe stare at your logon screen for hours at
a time? Why brother, It's just one more item to screw
your system up! Unless of course you enjoy watching your
logon screen

You can't load the video before windows initializes the drivers therefore
you are stuck with the default display resolution which is low. The image
size for the logo is a specific size and if you want to change the image to
a custom one do a search and you will find the info needed.
