expert needed

all desktop icons are in the recycle bin and can't be
restored. no hard drive can be seen. all wires,
connections, crimps checked. no backup done on files.
Please help me help my friend, before i chew her out for
not backing up. lol

Item No. 195 (right column), click on "Restore Desktop Icons and Taskbar".

Install the registry fix, then reboot your computer.
