Does anyone have any experience with Internet Projector? I want to
use it for my PowerPoint presentation but want to hear what your
experience is with this free product before I install it myself.
Thank you for any inputs.

Jim

Sounds VERY interesting. Just release on 4/25/04. When you install it and
try to run it, it asks for a registration key. When you click the link to
get a registration key, one is mailed to you and they thank you for joining
their Beta test. However, being a beta user entitles you to a one year free
license. So, it appears to use a server. The end user downloads and
installs a Viewer. You get an access code and let the end users know what
it is. End users don't need to have PowerPoint or Office. Works with
PowerPoint slides, Word docs, Excel files, images and text files.

Sonia,

I got that. And thought Ok...where do I get one from...went back to their website....could not find it.
So I gave up..

What link? where?
they thank you for joining their Beta test.
Isn't that a bit sly? Or are they up-front about the fact you may be joining the beta test?

At the bottom of the dialog that asks for a registration code there is
linked text that says something like "Click here...."

They are not really up front about it, but then it's free and you are a beta
user, not tester. No obligation to them other than to try it. I'm sure
they would like a lot of people pounding at their server. The reward is
great, if it turns out that you like the product (1 year free license) and
if you don't like it you can dump it. Looks like a win/win to me.

Their website is http://www.peerpc.com/
