expanding the margins on cells

Guest

I think I have a cell on part of our webpage. I want to make that "column"
wider, and the other portion with text narrower. When I change the margins on
the cell, it will stretch beyond the page margins. I've tried autostretch but
that doesn't make any difference. I've tried deleting everything on the page
and starting over, but it seems the cell is connected to the page banner so
that then gets all out of proportion. And it won't let me delete those
imaginary lines in the body of the page. Any ideas?

Works fine for me at http://www.eandsynod.org/html/about_eand.html

The OP has nested tables that will expand the banner cells w/ any changes to the lower nested table widths
Only way to avoid it is to rebuild the page w/ the banner area as a separate table

FireFox is still reporting:

The connection has timed out

The server at www.eandsynod.org is taking too long to respond.
