My computer came with XP Home. So that my c: directory would expand
when Windows opened, I went to Windows Explorer properties and put the
following in the target line:
c:\windows\explorer.exe /e, c:\
Later, I installed XP Pro on top of what I already had and everything
worked fine for a long time, including the above.
I had a system crash after downloading and installing the latest
Windows update (I did not disable my Norton Antivirus, but then I
never had when getting Windows updates and nothing bad had ever
happened). Anyway, using my XP Pro CD, I did a clean install. I did
the above trick for the c: directory opening, but now it won't work.
What am I missing?
