I have a text control [COMMENTS] on a continuous form. Is
there any way to use the click event to make the box
expand in height to display all the contents of the
COMMENTS (memo data type)? I know I can put a vertical
scroll on the control. But I want it to look neater than
that. I want the whole memo to become viewable in one box
and to shrink back when I move on to another record.
Thanks.

No, not really.

How about using a separate window to display the memo field.
Actually this capability is built into Access, so just
explain to your users to hit Shift F2 to bring up the Zoom
box.

If, for some reason, you don't like the Zoom box, you can
create another form with a large text box and open that
instead.

A memo field can be 65,000 odd characters long. How can you expect

What happens when the memo contains more characters than can possibly be
visible, simultaneously, in "one box"?
