expand my doctumets

in the taskbar and start menue, under costomize, thetre are check boxes , for
expand my doctuments and expand my pictures, if I check these boxrs ,what
would that do, is there any benifit to doing this. tks very much Bob
 
Basically what it does is makes the folders expand in the start menu when
you put your mouse over them and you can browse through the items... like
the all programs. Without this on the when you clicked on the folders in the
start menu it would open exploerer
