Mark G.

Am hoping this group can help as this does seem related to VS (Visual
Studio" and the reactions with IE. I am using IE 7 and briefly installed
Visual Studio 2010 beta and then uninstalled. I do have Visual Studio 2005
and 2008 installed. Anyhow, since doing this, I get quite a few pop ups from
"Visual Studio - Just In Time" debugger telling of an unhandled exception
error in IE. It goes on to say "this object does not support this property
or method". As if maybe I was writing code or something, but that is not the
case while I have IE open. This happens on website/pages that I never had an
issue with prior to installing and uninstalling the 2010 beta. Can any of
you assist in figuring how to turn this off or figure out what happened and
how to correct this please? I do have the "script debugging" turned off in
my IE options. Any help is very much appreciated!

Well, what feedback message did you get with drwtsn32 -i ?

Did you execute it with enough rights ?

That it has been install as the default application debugger. And yes, I do
have full admin privileges on my main account plus I tried it as the
administrator.

Any other thoughts please?

Thanks much.

I tried things mentioned and the only thing that really worked was to
upgrade to IE8. Just thought I would let you all know. I was a little
aprehensive about going to IE8, but after reading up a bit on it, it seemed
that if I was happy with IE7, that IE8 would be good.
