Exiting Outlook

Is there a way to get Outlook XP Pro to confirm before
program shutdown? I seem to remember a way to do that in
previous versions but can't seem to find it in the current
version.
 
Sure that wasn't a prompt before you automatically emptied
the deleted items folder?

I have also seen it when something is still in the outbox.
