EXIF rename

I have been using PIE Studio (shareware) to move and rename (to
yyyymmdd-hhmm-nnn.jpg) files from MS to computer. But it is
starting to get very slow. Is there a freeware move and rename
tool that does similar but less tardily?

Siren does a good job of renaming files, and can extract information
from existing EXIF tags and make that part of the filename if you
like, but it cannot move files or change EXIF data inside files.

Thanks for the clarification, I guess I should have said that I didn't know
if it does this :( as I don't use that feature.
