Execute object link when moving upward

It is easy to put an object on a slide which when the
motion of the presentation is from e.g. slide 1 to 2
(considering that slide 2 has the object). Then the object
activates, and the linked presentation opens and plays.
However if I am on slide 3 and go up to 2 it does not
play. Can I put a second object on slide 2 indicating that
when I go from slide 3 to 2 that the second object will
activate. In otherwords I want to get to the same linked
presentation from either direction with out all those
extra keystrokes.

Thank you in advance
God bless you

Link to the slide before the one you want to jump to, and make that slide a
new blank slide with a timing of 0. That will force the re-entry into your
target slide to be at the beginning of the actions on the slide.

Sonia,
Thank you very much for your reply. I'm not sure if I
completely understand what you are suggesting. I did the
following:
Slide 1 is blank (no timings, nothing)
Slide 2 is Title #1 slide with 0:00 timing transition
Slide 3 has object linked to PP Presentation#1
Slide 4 is Title #2 slide with 0:00 timing transition
Slide 5 has object linked to PP Presentation #2
and so on...

In presentation mode, using down arrrow/mouse click, etc.
when I move from slide #1 to #2, it automatically
transitions to slide 3, and links to PP Presentation #1.
When PP Presentation #1 is finished, it returns control
back to the calling PP Presentation and waits at slide #4.
I can also type "2" and hit enter, and PP Presentation #1
will execute. All this works wonderfully.

However, for instance, if I am on slide #4, and press the
UP arrow to get to slide #3, no link executes even though
I have entered the slide with the object (which the
animation to start is set to "0:00 sec", effect set
to "appear", object action set to "show") and is linked to
the PP Presentation #1.

No object executes if I go from the last slide all the way
up to the first slide using the up arrow.

Please help if you are able
God bless you, and thank you again for your reply

The solution I offered doesn't work if you are using the arrow keys. You'll
need to link an object to the appropriate slide and click on the object to
navigate to the slide.
