execute macro on open

Anyone know how to have a macro run as soon as a template
opens? I have created a custom toolbar as a macro. I want
the macro to run as soon as the template opens. Also, if
the macro has been run once before, I want the toolbar to
just show itself. I don't want to have to hit ALT+F8 and
select the macro to run it.

You need to change your macro into a PowerPoint Add-in. Details are
