I added an Access database to a webpage, passed the 'verify' check ok, then
when trying to view the page got this error:

Execute Access Denied
This Virtual Directory does not allow objects to be executed.

This is the standard wwwroot directory in Inetpub, other f.p. extension
components (like a counter) work ok, and in IIS I set this folders' Execute
Permissions to 'Scripts and Executables'. So what am I missing here?
Thanks -Fred

Check the application setting for the home directory tab under IIS MMC for the specific web.

That fixed it. Specifically (before I forget):
In IIS, right click on Default Web Site, Properties, Home Directory tab, set
Execute Permissions to 'Scripts and Executables'.

I had done that at a lower level folder, which was the right fix at the
wrong place. Thanks much! -Fred
