Executable folders

I am attempting to design an ASP page to connect to my access database. When i connect to my database i get the following error.

" Server Error: The folder "/" is marked executable you are not allowed to put files into an executable folder on this server"

I am user with administrator rights, so whats the deal, how do i get around this? i am a beginner so any help with would be great.

You have to contact your host to correct that.
