At the website BootDisk.com their boot disk files are self extracting.
Is there a freeware program out their that would enable one to make
the same self extracting floppy image file ? A program without the
need for say Floppy Image or Floppy Show.

What have you got against Floppy Image? What exactly are you asking?

If you choose to save the floppy as an .exe in floppy image (version
1.5.2) it makes a self-extracting image that automatically writes back to
the floppy disk with no need for the program after the image is made. Try
it with a test disk and see.

Thank you Andreas. I did not know that program had that feature. That
is what I was trying to ask even though I may have made myself not
sound clear. I am trying to send a friend some word documents off a
floppy disk and he does not have this Floppy Image program. Thank you
again!
