exe file attempts to logon to net

each time I start up my pc a different exe file program
tries to access the internet. Norton blocks it. Nothing
comes up as a virus with Norton or Adaware. Each time I
start up it is a diffrent exe file name, eg Qtf1.exe or
Gff1.exe. It always has 1 in it's name and if I block
it ,it alwasy keep trying until I stop it running in task
manager. Any ideas how to trace and eliminate this file?

The fact that the filename changes every time is a sure indication
of a trojan or virus. Not sure what to tell you if Norton isn't
picking it up. Does your version of Norton check for trojans?
