.exe error?

Everytime i install a new PC Game on my computer i get a .exe error?

this has happened with games such as "return to castle wolfenstein" , "Call of duty" , Day of Defeat" and "championship manager"

now i dont know how to fix this i have tried to install and download Patches and nothing works , i downloaded all the Windows Updates aswell, and also Direct X 9.0 i downloaded and i downloaded a update for my grpahics card


can somebody please help me im truely stuck and getting worried
my PC is only a year old
2.4GHz Pent 4 Processor
256 DDR Ram
80GB HHD
64MB gForce 4 grpahics card

Well I hate to say it but it's probably your video card. GForce 4 graphics
cards are famous for incompatibility. I bet if you went to your game readme
files it would tell you that or even on the box it'self some times. You
should down load the driver update for your card. However they are really
slow with updates and that's why I got rid of mine. You can go here to get
this driver. You should also get the Nvidia System Utility

That should fix the problems.
