I have a SQL 2000 backend, with an Access 2000 Project
frontend, and the frontend file is saved on each person's
private drive. (3) users are assigned dbo rights. (1)
user has successfully created views using the Access 2000
Project interface. However, another user continues to get
this error message when going into design view for
creating a view:
"You do not have exclusive access to the database at this
time. Your design changes will not be saved."
It allows her to design it, but she can't save it and
therefore can't run it. I have double checked her SQL
role and rights, she is dbo and no rights are denied. The
Access Project is saved on her personal drive, so no one
else has access to this file except for her.
Any ideas? I appreciate your feedback!
