flashing frank

hi,
i build a line chart and i don´t want excel to show the zero values.

the first thing i did was to include an if function to substitute zer
with blank fields. (="")
the if function is: =IF(J30="","",J30-J29)

then i went to tool-> options-> charts and checked the option fiel
"don`t show blank fields" (i have the german version of excel, so mayb
the field doesn´t say that exactly)

as you can see in the attachement the fields in the table are blank
but the table right under the chart shows still 0 as value.

what can i do, i was thinking maybe using a filter instead of the i
function, but i have no idea how to do that.

hope some1 can help me
ff
PS.: without the if function the fields would say "0
