Hi Everybody,
I have two hard (Drive C: and D: ) I want to make a full backup of C:
with "Automated System Recovery Wizard" to D: , problem is D: itself include
different files
that, it seams included in backup, is there any way to exclude D: drive,
if not what if I make a manual backup of C: plus system state then how can I
create that
recovery floppy disk (The one that Recovery Wizard create) ?
My whole point is having a full recovery system in case of C: drive crashes.

Thank you in advance - Sam

What you probably want is a drive imaging solution, like Ghost or Image,
that can image an entire drive or partition exactly as it exists now. You
can image to another drive, to a CD/DVD writer, or over the network.

Thanks a lot, I tried Ghost but I was wandering about "Automated System
Recovery Wizard"
Are you sure that I can not use it? I guess it should be a simple way that
I'm missing?????
other wise why it called : "Automated System Recovery "???

Thanks

The problem isn't with ASR, it's with what you're trying to force it to do
that it doesn't want to do - it's a one-click method of backing up (and if
necessary, restoring) an entire system. If it would easily back up and
restore a single drive, it would be called "Automated Drive Recovery"
instead of "Automated System Recovery".

Drive imaging software, on the other hand, is specifically made to back up
and restore single drives or partitions easily. So why use a hammer when
you need a screwdriver?
