What are you looking forward to over the next 5-10 years, something that you think is going to change the way we all work?

I'm really excited about 3D LCD's, as they have been around for about 5 years now and may be used much more widely soon enough. Would be amazing to actually have one of those :D

3D LCD's ?

*back in a sec*

Edit:
a bit of speed reading later, they sound quite cool gonna be damn expensive though

i like the sound of the quantum processors, we could get some serious crunching done with one of those

Memory replacing hard disks.

Low temps and silence.
I'm particularly looking forward to those two things - solid state drives are the way forward too (i.e flash memory etc...). Super fast and silent bootups - ah bliss :D

My own personal robot, they've been promising us that forever,it's time they finally deliver :)

I'd settle for a vacum cleaner with AI auto function... Hate vacuming & my lazy streak would just love an automatic vacum cleaner that didn't suck up the cat:):):).

Optical CPU's and Crystal storage devices (Holographic data storage)

Oh and cheap space travel

I have arthritis in the right shoulder ... some "customers" tend to get on my nerves. ;)

Or is it to scare it into NOT crashing
Linux has never 'crashed' :p my PC knows I know where the off switch is ... my "problems" are my own inability to learn at the speed I used to.

can i borrow that shotgun to shoot Jordan Stewart please? He is our utterly useless left back, and just gave an awful backpass, which got or keeper sent off!

we've lost our keeper, we have this second had another sent off and are drawing 1-1 with about half an hour remaining.

9 men, a useless left back and a 41 year old keeper...

by the way, this is Watford against Leeds, with me being an avid watford fan.
We are 3rd, Leeds are 4th, whoever wins goes third, and Sheffield United are losing which means whoever wins closes the 2nd place gap to 6 points.

i realise none of you care, im just letting some of my anger out...

I'm anopther one in favour of solid state hard drives, and totally silent PC's.

Another thing I'd like is a touch screen moniter, I know these are available, but just far too expensive and rare at the moment.

Strange to think that BT are at the forefront of all that future technology and yet when it comes to being an ISP their support is non-existent, confused or at best useless and their actual ISP service ain't too clever either.
