Hi,

I'm using Outlook 2000 on a Win XP Home PC, and I need to setup an email adress usind Exchange server type.
However whe I want to do so, Outlook give me only the choice between POP3 or IMAP .
Why I do not have the choice to select Exchange Server?
How to do?

Thanks a lot for your help!
Regards

Make sure you installed Outlook in CW mode and not IMO mode.

You can change mode in Tools-> Options-> tab Mail Delivery

Hello Roady,

Hi Mike,

Make sure you've got Exchange support installed. Insert the CD, start the
setup and choose to Add/Remove components.
IMO: Internet Mail Only-> no Exchange connection available
CW: Corporate Workgroup-> Exchange connection available

How do you connect to the Exchange server? By means of VPN or dial in? Since
you are using Windows XP Home I assume you are trying to read the mails from
work at home?

You're welcome! :-)

Just to be sure; is your problem solved now?
If not; have you set Outlook to CW mode now?
