Exchange Server and local contacts

Hi,

I just started a new job and I was given a laptop that connects to Exchange
server for e-mail. From here I access all of my 'group' contatct. But I also
want to access my local contacts but they don't appear in the list. How do i
get to see them?

i am using Outlook 2003. I want to be able to select the contacts list so i
can see the cantacts when i am addressing an ew email of forwarding.
Currently I can only see the exchange server contacts lists.

So I assume you mean the address book view? If so, did you enable your local
Contacts Folder as an email address book in its properties?

I tried to do that but the option is greyed out and thus unavailable.

Then that means you haven't added added the service to your profile.

Hi Russ,

Sorry to bother you again. Now I have the problem that when I create or edit
a contact in that list they I can't see them in the list when creating a new
email, but they are in the contact list. Does the list need to be updated or
shoudn't it just happen automatically?

Post a clear description of your problem Do not use nebulous terms like like
"in that list." Who could possibly know what you mean by that? What is a
"contact list?" Try to use the same terms Outlook uses so others can know
what you mean.

If you mean you're trying to change contacts by using the Address Book
interface, don't. Use the Contacts folder.
