Hi there,

Exchange2003SP1 on Win2003 Server SP1 as DC.

My goal is setting up a public calendar ( a join workshop) under the PF to
allow outsiders to use OWA to view the event. In case they need to
add/modify an event, click "New", they will be prompted to enter the
assigned username and password like mydomain\username. Is that feasible?
I'd tried to change the permission but no luck.

Any ideas?

Try asking in an Exchange group as this falls more under Exchange than
Outlook.

From what you have described, no. You access OWA with credentials and
if you have the rights to view or interact with a PF then Exchange
will let you do so under those credentials. If you have no rights to
the folder Exchange will not then prompt you to supply alternative
credentials.

What's the reason you want to have all users enter appoiintments in
this calendar using one set of credentials anyway? There may be
something better/else that can be done.
