exchange or outlook setting ??

Exchange 5.5 , user using outlook2000

1 of user she clear her "deleted item", after she clear all "deleted item",
some unread email that contain in "deleted item" was forward to other user
like

Is exchange or outlook handle this setting ?
why those unread email will forward to other user after clear the "deleted
item" ?
 
That is an Outlook setting. The sender asked for a read receipt for that
message. When the receiver reads the message she gets prompted to send a
read receipt to the sender. When she (permanently) deletes it without
reading it the sender gets a message that it was deleted without being read.

Receipts behavior has changed over the the Outlook versions. I can't really
remember to what level you were able to control read receipts in Outlook
2000. You can find the settings for this in Tools-> Options-> button E-mail
Options...-> button Tracking Options...
