Does anyone know how I can exchange a windows xp pro cd for a windows xp pro
sp2 cd? I would like to save the time (since I am getting ready to format) it
takes to download all the updates and installation of service pack 2.

Download them yourself one last time, integrate them into your installation
media and use the new media you burn as a result to install. Or get a
friend that knows what they are doing to do it for you.

There are third party applications (like NLite) that will do it for you.

You can't exchange it. However you can create your own by downloading
SP2, then slipstreaming it into your existing CD. See
