Hello,
I am new with Exchange.
E-Mail clients are Outlook 2000 that connect to Eudora mail server.
PSTs are on local HD.
I have to deploy SBS 2003.
On my test network I installed Exchange 2000 on 2000 server.
I didn't have a problem with configuration. Everything is working fine.
The info that I am reading is about configuration + optimisation. It helps a
lot.
But I have many questions about mail storage since my users kept all e-mail
on a local pc.
What is the best way to connect users to Exchange 2003?
Outlook 2003 is included in SBS.
1. Should I upgrade to Outlook 2003 before connecting to Exchange server?
2. Do I have to synchronise mail storage with local pst. ?
3. What is best practices for managing users e-mail.
I heard that all e-mail should be stored on the server. What about roaming
users with a large pst now.
You understand my concerns. Please provide links for appropriate info.
Or explain what will be the right approach for me to accomplish this
deployment.
Thanks,
Michael.
