HI Everyone
I need to know how do I move exchange 2000 mailboxes
from it's deafult installation location "exchange(m)" to
another hard drive location with more space. Current
exchange mailbox folder is on a hard drive with under 4GB
of space left, meanwhile, in the same server, I have a
hard drive with 127GB of unused space. I'm afraid if I
just cut and paste, this will cause major problems for e-
mail recepients. Time is of the essence. Users are not
using e-mail yet but they will soon. Any help and/or
guidance will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

George,

Fortunately, this is a cinch!

Upon up Exchange System Manager, and browse down through admin groups to the
server in question. Find the storage group you want to move, right click,
and goto properties. Browse to the new location. Exchange will dismount the
IS, and move the database. The server will be inaccessible during this
period.

Make sure you have good backups before you do this!

Thanks again. This is the second time you've bailed me
out. Much thanks and Happy Holidays.
