Could be a bad card in one machine. Try turning one
machine on at a time to see if you can find a culprit.
What type of router are you using?

I tried that. In fact, when I turned all four machines
off, no problem. As soon as I turned any of the four
machines on, the problem re-occurs. I suspect the
problem is with Windows 2000 or the Dell PCs. Note aslo
that they work ok in Safe Mode.

I am using Linksys 4-Port Cable/DSL router (Model No.
BEFSR41)

Thanks for the reply.

Does the ipconfig/all show that everything is pointing to your server-IP?
Check for spyware?

Nayden, YOU HIT IT RIGHT ON THE HEAD! THANKS!

I found out that all my unpatched Windows 2000 and XP
were infected by the W32.Welchia worm. Just like you
said the worm put two files DLLHOST.EXE and SVCHOST.EXE
in .\WINNT\system32\wins\ directory

Deleting the two files and installing the Blaster patch
seem to fix the problem.

Thanks again, Nayden.
