Excessive load time

General Shotts

When I try to open a document in either Word/Excell 2003
it takes 45 to 70 seconds. Other programs other than
2003 open in a flash. Is this common with 2003 since I
had no such delay with XP or 2002.
 
Do you have Norton AntiVirus? Disable the Office Plug-in.
