Exception processing message

For the last month or so I keep getting this message: Windows-No Disk

Has anyone found what causes it and how to fix it?

On my PC the cause of error was improper way of unhooking the USB external drive. I uninstalled the USB port in the Universal Serial Bus Controllers by going into Devise manager. Shutdown the PC and then restarted. System redetected it on its own and reinstalled the said USB port. In case of not being able to locate the specific USB port, uninstall all 'USB Root Hub including the USB Composit Device'.
