Excel2003 won't open file

I made an Excel file and stored it. When trying to open
that file I get the message "The file cannot be opened
because your virus scanner has detected a problem with
the file." Norton AntiVirus finds nothing wrong with the
file.

What's going on here?
 
Found this solution to work for me....

find the Excel.xlb file, rename and was able to open excel files
