It might be what is was built to do, but I've seen it used and abused for so
many things .... I refer to it as the "Swiss Army Knife of Business"

And that's weird/abusive *how*?

I've written a little app that graphically display a garden layout, and
prints out a seed packet list, a planting schedule, and calculates
returns for vegetable yields, too.

I'm kinda working on a blooming schedule that would show the expected
flower colors through the season...

Right now it's pretty much hard coded to my own yard, but it would be
interesting to see if it could be generalized.

Website design. A couple of my clients are using Excel for website design
and it drives me out of my mind. Trying to manipulate the text (I have to
proof/translate it) is insane.
 
Oh no! not you as well :-)

The person I was thinking of was a Finance Director. I believe he saw the
term "Landscape" and took it the wrong way.
