Hi,
I have MS Excel 2000 Professional(ver. 9.0.6926 sp-3)
installed in my pc. At one time, when I open excel, a new
worksheet would open up and on the right side of the
blank worksheet, there would be a panel that show a lists
of files I have worked before. Now this right panel has
disappeared. How do I get this panel back turned on?

In Excel 2002 it would be Tools>Options>View>Show "startup task pane".

Same on 2000?

Hi,

Thanks for the response. However on Excel 2000 I don't
see the option "startup task pane" under the View
Section. The option for show are as follows:

Formula bar, Status Bar and Windows in Taskbar

Any more suggestions?

Try entering startup task pane in help --- may point you to the right area --

Click on File, then New and your side screen will pop u
