We have a new Microsoft EXCEL spreadsheet with automatic
links created in EXCEL Office 2000. When we send out this
EXCEL spreadsheet to a PC with Microsoft EXCEL XP, the
user opens up the spreadsheet with "Value error". If we
send the same document to a user with Microsoft 2000
EXCEL, the correct values appear. Is there any setting so
a user can open up the EXCEL spreadsheet with XP office
without any "Value Error". Can anybody help? My email
address is (e-mail address removed).

Howdy, Phil!

Not really sure that this NG is the best place for this
question. This NG is intended for Windows 2000 Server
Active Directory questions. For any MS Office related
questions I would invite you to check out the Office
NewsGroups.

Anyway, since I am here: Don't know too much about Excel
( either version ) but might think that the Excel XP
version does not have the proper converters installed???

HTH,

Cary
