Excel won't open

About a week ago excel stopped opening. I tried to
reinstall...nothing. I read that deleting .xlb would
help...nothing. I have emptied temp files, repair, and
reinstall...nothing. No viruses show up, no
spyware...nothing. I'm at my wits end please please tell
me what I'm not doing to get Excel to work. It won't
open with /safe, /automation, or /regserver. I have been
unable to locate a NAV plug in, so if that is the case
please instruct on how to find and disable.

What DOES happen when you double click the excel icon or try to start
in safe mode?

i have the same problem, but I can open mine up by
typing /s for safe mode.
